Our Coaches

Sveta Prokopova is the head coach and owner of Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy. After starting gymnastics at age 5, Sveta was invited to join the prestigious Derugina School in Ukraine. She has represented Team Ukraine as part of the group at the 2012 London Olympic Games which earned 5th place in the All-around Final. She also competed at the 2013 World Championships in Kyiv, where the Ukrainian group earned the Bronze medal with their 10 clubs routine. After retiring from the sport, she coached at the Deriugina School before moving to the United States. As the head coach of Pacific Stars, she has raised 8 National Team members of various countries and many other Elite gymnasts.

Dasha Farshbafshakhriiari coaches Level 7-10 at Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy. She was a gymnast for 13 years and competed in the National Team of Azerbaijan for 5 years, becoming the absolute champion of Azerbaijan multiple times. She has qualified for finals in many international tournaments and won the individual quota for Azerbaijan for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. After retiring from the sport, Dasha worked as a coach in Turkey for 2 years before moving to the United States. She joined Pacific Stars in 2024.
